Slow Food North East – Get Together
May 29 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Join the new board of Slow Food in the North East of Ireland for a fun and informal ‘getting to know you’ session.
We are delighted to be reviving Slow Food in the North East of Ireland! We think Slow Food is a brilliant platform to explore the burning issues around food production and sustainability as well as highlighting the amazing local produce, food traditions and creative cooking in Northern Ireland.
We’d love to hear from you about what you want from Slow Food in the North East of Ireland. What are the food production issues you would like us to explore? What kind of events would you be interested in attending? Where should we be focusing our energy and time? How can we spread the word? How would you like to be involved?
We’re hosting the first (in what we hope will be a regular series) of casual networking events for Slow Food members on Wednesday 29th May at 6.30pm at The Edible Flower, 121 Middle Road, Saintfield, BT24 7LS. There will be snacks (wood-fired pizza) and drinks and an opportunity to meet and chat with fellow Slow Food members as well as tell us about what you’d like to see from Slow Food and find out more about how you could get involved.
Members, non-members, friends and family are all welcome too
We are really looking forward to seeing you!
